The DVR7 mp3 format digital voice recorder is our most popular model. It provides superb mp3 format recording quality at 128kbps rate and comes with great accessories to cover all recording needs. The recorder has a built in fm radio, mp3 player and a very useful built in usb connection so no losing any cables. A built in rechargeable lithium battery comes in useful as it will charge from your PC USB port, a built in speaker comes in handy for playback to review recordings.
The ability to playback on the move via headphones provided (a 3.5mm connection) is also useful for listening on the move. The digital voice recorder system has three recording modes ( LP 8 Kbps / SP 32 Kbps / HP 128 Kbps) HP sound recording files are saved as "mp3" format which can be played back on the computer directly using the USB data transfer. MP3 is the ideal recording format if you are looking to create audio cd's or to upload or save as podcast ready mp3 files.

"Very pleased with the recorder. It needs the earphones to play back at a decent volume on my laptop, but when I use them the sound is very good. I haven't tried all the functions yet - e.g. recording phonecalls - but have made several MP3 files which have worked out well and e-mailed effectively. I like its very small size and it's great that I can do my recording, plug it into a usb port and e-mail the file immediately. For my purposes - research, writing, family history - it is excellent."
