"Ordered the recorder 08/03/10 and it arrived 10/03/10 so great service. I had been looking at buying one of these but was put off by the price of £70 upwards for similar devices. I was a bit wary of buying this one as a review on Amazon for a similarly priced recorder advised to avoid it as it was practically useless. I have been experimenting with the ultradisk recorder for a few hours now & I am very pleased with the quality of the playback. Still not managed to get the time stamp to work but this is not critical & still working on it.>"

"I recently purchased one of these, and found it to be very useful! As I am involved in a theatre production here in Greece (music & sound Fx creation), I was in need of a simple recording device to use for voice and effects sounds. The usb stick is perfect. Very neat and clever! Records voice overs by actors (eg. lift voice "doors closing - going down") mixed with a bell and door closing noises. So simple and the recording is in digital format (.wav) and fed directly into a computer for processing the final effect. Very quick and easy. The device also has other uses of course, like a voice diary or memo machine, even recording telephone conversations! Excellent value and very small. And it is a standard usb memory stick as well. Very versatile and a good buy. UKET is also a very good company to deal with. Problem free ordering and free delivery (even to Greece!). "Excellent service. Product performs as described. Quick download and plays back on the computer superbly using Apple Quicktime. I could not get a response on Realplayer or Windows Media player. "Smallest USB Memory Stick Digital Voice Recorder UltraDisk DVR10 2GB - I wanted a device to record my father talking about his early and working life, and because it doesn't look like a recording device he didn't know until he heard the playback that I had been recording him at all so he spoke very naturally - briiliant!
It has a small switch on the side to put it into 'record' mode - vey easy to use although it would have been useful to know which position was 'on'. I lost some of the conversation because I wasn't sure if I had switched it on."
